The Kunsthalle strives to synthesize to distinct, superimposed systems into a cohesive whole: One, a longitudinal path that moves through the site connecting York to High street, and the other, a lateral, spatial organization that both negotiates and juxtaposes the city to the south of the site with the institutions of Yale adjacent to the North.
